Becky Wofford, MA, LMFT

Individual & Couples Therapist

Many people come to counseling feeling stuck in certain behaviors, relational patterns, or emotional cycles, perhaps without even understanding why, or without hope of lasting change. Becky’s desire is to journey with you toward emotional, mental, spiritual, and relational wholeness. You may be facing a broken or injured relationship, suffering from disordered eating or body image concerns, have a history of sexual abuse or trauma, be living with or recovering from a serious illness, or be experiencing depression or anxiety. There is hope!

Becky’s passion is working with women on issues including eating disorders, sexual and relational wholeness, healthy boundaries, divorce recovery, and spiritual awakening and integration. She is known for providing a safe, supportive environment with the goal of helping you live more authentically with healthy strategies and coping skills for life.

Becky has extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and feels honored in helping couples get to the heart of their relational struggles and find a deeper and closer connection together. She practices from an attachment based perspective and is skilled at helping couples understand their ongoing disruptive patterns of relating and facilitating the co-creation of new, more connecting patterns of relating which create safe, secure attachments between partners.

Her style of therapy has been described and experienced as warm, safe, attuned, and at times humorous.
